The InkWeave™ Reusable A4 Sticky Fabric Printing Backing is specially prepared to hold your fabric securely while printing with a compatible home inkjet printer.

Simply attach your InkWeave™ pre-treated cotton or other suitable fabric to the sticky surface, print your design and carefully peel your finished fabric away.

HOW TO USE YOUR REUSABLE PRINTING BACKING

STEP 1 – REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE COVER

Place your backing on a clean, flat surface with the sticky side facing upwards.

Carefully remove the protective cover sheet.

STEP 2 – START WITH THE LONG EDGE

Align one long edge of your dry, pre-treated fabric with the long edge of the backing.

ALWAYS START WITH ONE LONG EDGE FIRST!

STEP 3 – SMOOTH & PRESS FIRMLY

Gently lower the remaining fabric onto the sticky surface.

Smooth and press firmly across the entire sheet, paying particular attention to the edges and corners.

STEP 4 – CHECK BEFORE PRINTING

Make sure your fabric is completely flat and securely attached.

NO AIR BUBBLES • NO WRINKLES • NO LIFTING EDGES!

Loose fabric or raised areas can catch inside your printer or cause ink smudging.

STEP 5 – PRINT YOUR DESIGN

Feed the prepared fabric sheet through your compatible home inkjet printer.

Print your photograph, illustration, pattern or artwork.

STEP 6 – PEEL & REUSE

Allow the ink to dry thoroughly.

Carefully peel your printed fabric away from the backing.

Replace the protective cover to keep the sticky surface clean until your next print.

WHAT IF MY BACKING IS TOO STICKY?

Your backing may initially have a strong grip.

If it feels too sticky:

1. Place a clean, dry piece of scrap cotton onto the sticky surface.
2. Gently peel it away.
3. Repeat once or twice if necessary.

This reduces the initial tack slightly while maintaining enough adhesion to hold your fabric during printing.

IMPORTANT: Your fabric must still be firmly secured, especially around the edges and corners.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR REUSABLE BACKING

KEEP YOUR BACKING CLEAN AND PROTECTED FOR REPEATED USE!

• REPLACE THE PROTECTIVE COVER after every use.
• STORE FLAT in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• KEEP FREE FROM DUST, LINT AND LOOSE FIBRES.
• WATER ONLY IF NECESSARY – Rinse very briefly and gently with clean water.
• AIR-DRY COMPLETELY before using again.
• DO NOT SCRUB, SOAK OR USE SOAP OR DETERGENT!

The adhesive coating can wash off if scrubbed, soaked or cleaned with soap.

THE BACKING IS NOT WASHABLE – ONLY A QUICK, GENTLE WATER RINSE IF NECESSARY.

DO I NEED A SPECIAL PRINTER?

NO SPECIAL FABRIC PRINTER REQUIRED!

You can print on fabric with your inkjet printer using a compatible home inkjet printer.

Your printer must be able to accommodate the combined thickness of the backing and attached fabric.

Always check your printer manufacturer's specifications before feeding fabric-backed sheets through your printer.

NOT SUITABLE FOR LASER OR DYE-SUBLIMATION PRINTERS.

IMPORTANT – FABRIC MUST BE PRE-TREATED

This reusable backing holds your fabric in place during printing.

IT DOES NOT PRE-TREAT YOUR FABRIC OR MAKE THE PRINT WASHABLE.

For washable fabric printing, use fabric that has been treated with InkWeave™ Inkjet Fabric Pretreatment, or purchase our ready-treated InkWeave™ cotton fabric.
