Sell your bookbinding products to an established creative audience
Join the DIY Book Binding Supplies maker marketplace and place your handmade books, specialist tools, papers, templates and bookbinding products in front of customers who are already looking for them.
Why sell with us?
Reach existing traffic
DIY Book Binding Supplies already attracts people interested in bookbinding materials, tools and techniques. Your approved products can be discovered by this relevant audience.
Appear in the normal Shop
Approved maker products can appear alongside our products in the Shop, relevant categories, site search and related-product areas. Each listing clearly names your shop.
Your own shop page
Customers can click your shop name to see your maker profile, story, policies and all your approved products in one place.
Stay on one trusted website
Customers browse and complete checkout on DIY Book Binding Supplies. The basket groups products by maker so each shop is checked out separately.
Direct Paystack settlement
Once payout verification is active, your share of an eligible order is allocated through your Paystack subaccount for settlement. Marketplace commission is handled separately.
Potential Google visibility
Eligible approved products may be submitted through our Google for WooCommerce catalogue, giving them an opportunity to appear across supported Google surfaces.
Simple maker pricing
There is no charge to apply or keep a maker shop open. We only earn when an approved maker makes a sale.
R0 joining fee
It is free to apply and create an approved maker shop.
R0 monthly fee
No subscription or recurring marketplace charge.
2.9% sales commission
Charged only on the product value of a completed marketplace sale. Shipping is excluded from commission.
Maker price & fee calculator
Enter your real costs and the profit you want. The calculator suggests a product price that covers the marketplace commission and estimated Paystack charge.
What else should makers allow for? Materials, labour/time, packaging, delivery, returns/damage allowance, discounts and any tax obligations that apply to their own business. This estimate uses Paystack’s published South African rates and the marketplace’s 2.9% commission. Actual gateway charges can vary by payment method and transaction; delivery is excluded from the 2.9% commission but Paystack may charge on the full customer payment.

Frequently asked questions
Will customers see my shop name?
Yes. Product cards and product pages will show “Sold by” followed by your clickable shop name, leading to your profile and all your approved products.
Do I receive money directly?
Yes. Approved marketplace makers are linked to Paystack subaccounts so their maker share can be allocated for settlement without DIY Book Binding Supplies manually holding and forwarding maker proceeds.
What does it cost to sell?
There is no joining fee and no monthly fee. The marketplace commission is 2.9% of the product value on completed sales. Shipping is not included when commission is calculated.
Can my products appear on Google?
Eligible listings may be submitted, but Google reviews each product independently. Approval and placement are never guaranteed.
Who ships the order?
Each maker fulfils and supports their own maker-specific orders according to the shipping and returns information shown on their listings.
