Paper Burnisher

Paper Burnishing is done to make your paper smooth, polished, and non-absorbent.

How to burnish:

Stroke the entire surface of the paper with the burnisher, going in one direction, putting some elbow grease behind the stroke.
Turn the paper 90 degrees on the board and stroke it again. It will begin to get glossy. Turn it once more and burnish it again. It should be quite glossy by now, but if the paper is coarse or thick or you are not putting enough force into the burnishing, you might need to turn the paper and burnish it again.

These burnishers are set with epoxy resin inside a sturdy handle. The stone colors and handles may vary in color due to what is available.
